The Central North Island Regional Chairman, Mr Andrew von Dadelszen, together with the Lower
North Island Regional Chairman, Mr Bernard Cleary are pleased to invite you to the CNI 80th
Annual Regional Conference and LNI 81st Annual Conference.
This year for the first time we are combining the Central North Island and Lower North Island
conferences. While still separate regions, with it being election year, it will make the conference
process easier for our Leader and MPs, and give our members an opportunity to hear from a
wider pool of our MPs. The conference this year will be held in the Wairakei Resort, SH, Taupo.
The Conference will officially begin Saturday 6 May at 9.00am and will finish on Sunday 7 May at
FRIDAY NIGHT CNI List Ranking – 3rd Meet the Candidate Meeting at 7pm
As this is Election Year, we have to undertake the List Ranking process to rank our Regional MPs
and Candidate. This will be the 3rd Meet the Candidate meeting and the Final List Ranking Process
will take place on Saturday afternoon following the CNI AGM.
FRIDAY NIGHT LNI List Ranking - 3rd Meet the Candidate Meeting at 7.30pm
As this is As this is Election Year, we have to undertake the List Ranking process to rank our
Regional MPs and Candidate. This will be the 3rd Meet the Candidate meeting and the Final List
Ranking Process will take place on Saturday afternoon following the LNI AGM.
There are no other planned official functions to be held on Friday night at this stage
but there will be a meet and greet fellow members from around the CNI and LNI Regions.
SATURDAY MORNING BREAKFAST
There will be a breakfast on Saturday morning for Electorate Chairs and Campaign Chairs with a
senior guest MP to be confirmed.
SATURDAY NIGHT FUNCTION
A Dinner with entertainment, (to be confirmed) will be held at 7.30pm. Pre dinner drinks will be in
the Hotel Bar from 6.30pm. All cash bar. Tickets for the dinner are NOT included in the Registration
and will be $60pp
SUNDAY: BLUEGREENS & SUPERBLUES BREAKFASTS
The Bluegreens and Superblues Breakfasts will be held on Sunday morning with guest speakers to
be confirmed. The cost is $30pp.
REGISTRATION – PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
The Registration fee will cover the cost of the conference and includes the Conference Book,
morning and afternoon teas and will cover your Saturday Lunch. Saturday night dinner and the
two Sunday Breakfasts are optional. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO SUNDAY LUNCH.
There will be no meal refunds made at conference as numbers will have been booked with the
Hotel a week prior for which we will have to pay.
If Registrations are paid by Friday 21 April the Registration fee is $130. After that date, it is $150.
One day Registration is available for observers only and on Saturday will include Lunch.
Young Nationals Registration is offered at a reduced rate and includes Saturday lunch.

UNABLE TO ATTEND? – You may make a personal substitution for the Conference but a
substitution form must be filled in and signed. Your Electorate Secretary will have a copy of the
substitute form or you can download a copy from the MyNational website or you may get one
through the Regional Office.
ACCOMMODATION- WAIRAKEI RESORT
Rooms are being held until 37 days prior to the conference. All bookings are up to the individual
and a booking form will be available at your AGM. The cost for most rooms for 2 people is
